Project Focus: A growing family needed additional living space but were deeply attached to the existing home and neighborhood. We provided a solution that expanded their footprint without compromising the character of their home.
Our Solution
We removed the existing roof from the rear portion of the house and constructed a complete second storey addition. This strategic approach maximized the new square footage while maintaining the home’s character. The addition includes a full bedroom, complete bathroom, and intimate living space.
Key Features
A 200 sq ft upper deck creates a valuable outdoor living area and enhances the sense of spaciousness in the addition. The design seamlessly integrates with the existing home’s architecture while providing the additional space they needed to grow comfortably in their established neighbourhood.
